Did you know I wrote a children’s book? Hot off the presses this year, “Tidal Tails: Demi the Dolphin’s Day at the Bay” is my first-ever children’s book. The book takes readers on a wonderful adventure and I am happy to share that I will be reading Tidal Tails at an upcoming Town of Amherst Youth and Recreation event, “A Starry Night.”
Get cozy under the stars for a magical evening at, “A Starry Night.” Families are invited to enjoy a special book reading by a local author (me!), join in on sing-alongs and create themed crafts together. Sip on hot coca, grab some cookies, wear your favorite pajamas and settle in for a night filled with wonder, warmth and imagination! The cost to attend is $1 for persons with a valid resident Amherst ID and $2 per person for non-residents. Pre-registration is required.

ABOUT THE BOOK
Demi the dolphin sees her pals, the “Tidal Tails” on her journey to the greatest surprise (and trick!) in history. Together, they are the best of friends and helpers to the Earth. This book helps teach kids about friendship, kindness, how to be a helper and (arguably) most importantly, an ally to our Earth. It’s silly, fun, educational and a little bit of everything wrapped up in one.
